Thomas Irwin

Thomas Irwin is an associate with Medley, Behrens & Lewis LLC. Thomas joined the firm as a law clerk in January of 2015 and started full-time as an associate in August of 2015. He has experience drafting patent applications and responses to office actions from the United States Patent and Trademark Office in the technological fields of software, mechanical systems, communications, and image processing, among others.

As an undergraduate seeking degrees in electrical engineering and political science at Ohio University, Thomas concentrated his studies on control systems, microelectronics, electric machines, and the interfaces among law, policy, and technology. Graduating near the top of his class from the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, Thomas studied all aspects of intellectual property, with particular emphasis on patent law and technological innovation.
