Theodore J. Prekop

Ted is an associate with Medley, Behrens & Lewis LLC. Ted joined the firm in January of 2017. He has experience drafting patent applications and responses to office actions from the United States Patent and Trademark Office in the technological fields of software and chemistry.

Prior to joining the firm, Ted worked in a Tallahassee-based law firm where his practice focused primarily on regulated industries, corporate law, and litigation. While in law school, Ted completed an internship at the Florida First District Court of Appeal in Tallahassee, Florida.  

As an undergraduate at Cornell University, Ted’s studies primarily focused on biology and chemistry, with a particular focus on biochemistry. At the University of Florida Levin College of Law, Ted graduated cum laude and earned a certificate in intellectual property law along with his J.D. Ted recently earned a master’s degree from the University of Chicago, where his studies focused on mobile and big data technologies.
